This work from early 2024 features an autistic and depressed protagonist trying to find it within herself to let go of a lost relationship and still carry on living. Rated Q for Queer.
Submitted to Reedsy contest #269 in late September 2024, this short surreal horror story grew out of a midnight thought excercise weeks earlier. The contest gave me impetus to flesh it out some. A narrator grapples with the implications of finding what appears to be a used noose in their parents' attic.
